How do Smart Technology Measure Earthquakes?
The energy comes from an earthquake visits through Earth in vibrations called seismic waves. Earthquakes are detected by scientific smart instruments which is called seismometers. A seismometer technology detects seismic waves below the instrument and records them as a series of zig-zags process. Scientists can determine the intensity, location and time of an earthquake from the information recorded by a seismometer. This record also provides information about the rocks the seismic waves traveled through. However, this smart technology can prevent the damage of earthquakes.
