Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by the latest invented coronavirus. I discussed this virus a while back. But it did not take the form of an epidemic. So, the whole world didn’t think about it. But in the past week, the virus has become so pandemic that the whole world is now forced to think about it. Thousands of people are dying before they can understand anything. It’s high time to be concerned about this virus!
The fast-growing virus travels to almost 202 countries. Territories around the whole world have reported a sum of 859,770 confirmed cases of the coronavirus COVID-19 that started from Wuhan, China, and loss of life of 42,340 deaths.
We have reached the third stage of the corona epidemic. The worst times are going on. For that reason, all of the world is now closed. The places that people used to enter now seem ghostly. This situation has been created due to restrictions on daily movement, closure of schools, travel bans, ban on public gatherings. And the news is being spread around the house and trying to be safe. Because the virus is spreading in horrible ways. Worldwide stock markets are suffering a huge loss in the first three months of the year, with the huge sell-off affecting the Coronavirus. Scientists are trying very hard to make medicines this deadly virus.
The way the whole world has reacted to preventing disease is unprecedented. But where is the end of it? When will people be able to return to their normal daily lives?
It is too hard to control this spreading virus. Countries need to find a strategy to get out of this situation and find ways to overcome the restrictions and get back to normal life.
So, let’s talk about the options?
Some of the steps that have been taken in this regard. For example, if someone is infected with coronavirus, isolation or strengthening the test. Applying a medication to the symptoms of coronavirus in humans can prevent it from spreading to others.
Professor Ulhaus said, “The third thing is to bring about a permanent change in our behavior so that the level of infection is not high.” I already said before how you can stay safe.
The best way to prevent coronavirus is still washing your hands in the best medicine.
Soak your hands with clean and running water. Turn off the tap and soap up your hands. Turn the soap into a lather by rubbing your hands together. Apply lather soap onto the backs of your hands, in between your fingers and under your nails. At least 20 seconds you need to scrub your hands. Rinse your hands well under clean, flowing water. Dry your hands or air-dry using a clean towel.
Soap-water is your best defense against viruses, but a hand sanitizer is an alternative option if you don’t have access to any of it. Pump a small globe of sanitizer on one side and rub your hands together for about 20 seconds. We cannot say that germ will be completely gone by using hand sanitizers, still they are better than nothing.
To get a more accurate guideline, I’m sharing with you WHO’s instructions:
- Clean your hands regularly with soap and water, or clean those with alcohol-based hand rub and also you can use sanitizer.
- Maintain at least 1 metre distance between you and other people coughing or sneezing.
- Avoid touching faces.
- Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing.
- Stay home if you feel unwell.
- Refrain from smoking and other activities that weaken the lungs.
- Practice physical distancing by avoiding unnecessary travel and staying away from large groups of people.
